Sea-Land Chemical Company Promotes Osborn to Customer Service Manager, Expands Customer Service Team

Sea-Land Chemical Company, a leading international chemical distributor of specialty additives for the lubricants industry and household, industrial and institutional cleaning markets, today announced the promotion of Taryn Osborn to Customer Service Manager, and several additions to the customer service team.

Osborn, with more than three years of experience in customer service at Sea-Land, takes this new position to lead, develop and provide the highest levels of service to our customers. She has a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a Master’s of Science in nonprofit management. The customer service team will report to her.

“It’s always great to promote from within, and we’re excited to promote Taryn because of her leadership, work ethic and passion for the success of her team,” said Jeff Levandowski, Director of Commercial Operations. “With her high level of thinking, she constantly brings up ideas to discuss to improve processes and outcomes. Taryn is a natural leader and will be a great manager.”

In addition to Osborn’s promotion, Sea-Land announces the addition of two new customer service specialists.

Gina Aitken brings several years of customer service and pricing experience from a variety of industries, including specialty chemicals. She understands chemical distribution and supply chain issues well. Aitken has an Associate’s degree in business administration and management, and in human resources.

Teresa Anderson brings more than 11 years of customer service and inside sales management experience from other B2B service businesses, including specialty chemicals. Her chemical industry knowledge and experience will enable her to come up to speed and quickly begin helping our customers. Anderson studied political science and accounting.

“Gina brings a business background and passion for learning and excelling,” said Craig Lundell, Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations. “And Teresa brings experience in leading customer service and inside sales teams. She knows how to make improvements that lead to better customer experiences. We’re thrilled to add Gina and Teresa as they’ll be wonderful additions to our team.”

Aitken and Anderson will report to Osborn.
