AEPD-85 is a high performance amino alcohol for metalworking fluids that helps develop and maintain alkaline pH, improves corrosion inhibition and reduces cobalt leaching. AEPD-85 is an excellent choice for the replacement of diethanolamine because it has almost identical base strength (pKa).

AEPD™ 85 is a multifunctional amino alcohol for metalworking fluids comprised of 85% aminoethyl propanediol in a 15% aqueous solution. AEPD 85 has an intermediate base strength (pKa 8.8) and provides a good balance of pH development and reserve alkalinity properties. AEPD 85 has been shown to provide enhanced microbial control in fluids formulated with triazine-based biocides. It also offers a favorable environmental profile, improved foaming performance and reduced cobalt leaching when compared with alternative chemistries.
ALKATERGE™ E is a non-volatile oxazoline-based surface-active agent used in emulsions, dispersions, and corrosion inhibitors across a variety of metalworking fluid applications.
ALKATERGE™ T is an oxazoline-based nonvolatile surface-active agent used as a corrosion inhibitor, emulsifier, and pigment dispersant in a variety of industrial applications. ALKATERGE T functions well as a primary emulsifier in forming water-in-oil emulsions and is particularly useful in products such as metal polishes and waxes. Thin coats of ALKATERGE-T can be used to prevent corrosion of metals during shipment or storage.
AMP-95 is the product name under which ANGUS markets 2-amino-2-methyl-1 propanol containing 5% added water. This colorless mobile liquid with a relatively low viscosity remains liquid at temperatures as low as 4°C (39°F) to permit easy, convenient handling.

CORRGUARD LSA is a high-performance metalworking fluid additive consisting of primary amino alcohol chemistry with less than 0.75% secondary amine. The low secondary amine level of CORRGUARD LSA helps formulators meet increasingly stringent end-user and regulatory requirements, such as TRGS 611 in Germany. CORRGUARD LSA is 100% water soluble and provides high-efficiency neutralization, pH stability and corrosion control, and leaches less cobalt than most competitive amine chemistries used in today’s metalworking fluid formulations. CORRGUARD™ SI corrosion inhibitor is specifically designed for use in metalworking fluid formulations to inhibit staining on commonly used aluminum alloys, such as Al 380, as well as galvanized steel and galvaneal.
