Altapur® Hydro P-240 is a 40% active potassium salt of a C21 dicarboxylic acid derived from natural fatty acids. Altapur Hydro P-240 is a hydrotrope for the solubilization of a nonionic and anionic surfactants in alkaline-built systems. In aqueous systems, Altapur Hydro P-240 is an effective corrosion inhibitor and is hard water compatible. Applications include metalworking fluids and chain belt lubricants.
