EMERSOL™ 132NF Stearic Acid, triple-pressed, has an extremely low impurity content and low iodine value making it the purest commercial macrocrystalline stearic acid available. EMERSOL 132NF Stearic Acid is the prime choice for the highest quality end products because of its outstanding color stability, resistance to rancidity, low odor and unmatched oxidation stability.
EMERSOL™ 153 Stearic Acid NF contains the highest content of stearic acid in the Emery Oleochemical product portfolio, typically 96%. EMERSOL 153 Stearic Acid NF has high purity with excellent initial color, low iodine value and excellent color stability.
EMERSOL™ 213 Oleic Acid NF is a somewhat light colored, single-distilled oleic acid acting as a multipurpose grade for use where extremely light color is not essential. Although EMERSOL 213 Oleic Acid NF is a single-distilled grade, it posses excellent resistant to rancidity, oxidation and color changes during processing. Its low titer further increases its utility.
EMERSOL™ 221 Oleic Acid NF is a versatile oleic acid where a light color is required. This double-distilled oleic acid offers excellent color stability as well as light initial color. EMERSOL 221 Oleic Acid NF's low solid acid content and low titer result in low melting derivatives which contributes to ease of handling under low-temperature storage conditions. Products made from EMERSOL 221 Oleic Acid NF exhibit excellent resistance to rancidity and oxidation.
EMERY® 400 is a rubber grade, stearic acid. EMERY 400 is utilized in applications where odor, color and color stability are not of primary importance. Emery 400 provides uniform quality and dependable performance at low cost. Its principal use is the manufacture of rubber, buffing compounds and greases.
EMERY® 420 is very similar to Emery 410, but has lighter color, lower iodine value and a slightly higher stearic : palmitic ratio (70:30). EMERY 420 finds use in metallic soaps and stearates, as well as in the preparation of textile specialties requiring good sulfuric acid heat stability during manufacture.
EMERY® 422 is a stearic acid. The stearic : palmitic ratio of EMERY 422 results in a combination of physical properties unobtainable from stearic acids of any other composition. It offers high hardness, low shrinkage and low titer, all of which are particularly useful in the manufacture of many molded products. EMERY 422 also possesses light initial color, good heat and color stability, low iodine value and low odor.
EMERY® 610, soya fatty acid, has approximately 53% polyunsaturated acid content and a saturated acid content of approximately 21%.
EMERY® 622, coconut fatty acid, has been specially refined to offer excellent initial color. EMERY 622 is manufactured for applications requiring a lower-cast, short-chain fatty acid.
EMERY® 626 coconut fatty acid exhibits greatly improved color stability as a direct result of the lower iodine value.
EMERY® 629, stripped coconut fatty acid, has been specially distilled to reduce the low molecular weight C8-C10 portion of the acid mixture found in "normal" coconut fatty acids from approximately 13% to 1%.
EMERY® 652 is a 99% lauric acid. EMERY 652 exhibits light initial color, excellent color stability and low iodine value.
EMERY® 657 is a commercially pure Caprylic Acid. This product is a water-white liquid containing approximately 99% caprylic acid.
EMERY® 658, caprylic-capric acid, is a blend of caprylic and capric acids that exhibit a titer considerably lower than either of the two pure acids alone. With a maximum iodine value of 0. and an initial color of 88/97 (%transmission, 440/550 nm), Emery 658 reflects the same high quality apparent in each of Emery even-carbon acids.
Tomamine Amphoteric 16 is a biodegradable, high foaming and hydrotroping surfactant. It is designed for use in alkaline or acid cleaning formulations where the solubility of surfactants in high electrolyte content or water hardness is problematic. This product also provides good coupling stability, wetting and detergency in a wide range of formulations.
Tomamine Amphoteric 400 is a surfactant that is an extremely low foaming iminodipropionate amphoteric supplied as a 50% solution of the partial sodium salt. It is designed for use in hard surface alkaline or acid cleaning formulations where no foam is desired.
Tomamine Amphoteric L is a biodegradable, high foaming surfactant that is designed for use in mildly alkaline or acid cleaning formulations. This product also functions as a foam stabilizer, booster and viscosifier in systems which require copious foam and mildness.
Tomamine Amphoteric LH offers classic amphoteric surfactant advantages such as compatibility with other detergent ingredients, multi-functionality, synergistic performance and environmental friendliness. It can also be effectively used as a hydrotrope and detergent in both hard surface and laundry cleaning applications.
Tomamine Amphoteric SC is a 35% active amphoteric designed for use in alkaline and acid cleaners offering excellent coupling, stability, foaming and wetting.
Tomamine® Amphoteric 12 is a biodegradable, low foaming and hydrotroping surfactant. It is designed for use in alkaline or acid cleaning formulations where the solubility of the surfactants in high electrolyte content or water hardness is problematic.
