AEPD™ 85 is a multifunctional amino alcohol for metalworking fluids comprised of 85% aminoethyl propanediol in a 15% aqueous solution. AEPD 85 has an intermediate base strength (pKa 8.8) and provides a good balance of pH development and reserve alkalinity properties. AEPD 85 has been shown to provide enhanced microbial control in fluids formulated with triazine-based biocides. It also offers a favorable environmental profile, improved foaming performance and reduced cobalt leaching when compared with alternative chemistries.
AKYPO LF 1 is an anionic, low foaming surfactant with hydrotropic properties. AKYPO LF 1 is a solubiliser for metalworking fluids and reduces foam stability when combined with foaming surfactants. EMERY® 420 is very similar to Emery 410, but has lighter color, lower iodine value and a slightly higher stearic : palmitic ratio (70:30). EMERY 420 finds use in metallic soaps and stearates, as well as in the preparation of textile specialties requiring good sulfuric acid heat stability during manufacture.
EMERY® 422 is a stearic acid. The stearic : palmitic ratio of EMERY 422 results in a combination of physical properties unobtainable from stearic acids of any other composition. It offers high hardness, low shrinkage and low titer, all of which are particularly useful in the manufacture of many molded products. EMERY 422 also possesses light initial color, good heat and color stability, low iodine value and low odor.
EMERY® 610, soya fatty acid, has approximately 53% polyunsaturated acid content and a saturated acid content of approximately 21%.

EZ-Mulz™ 500 is an oil-soluble high molecular weight natural sodium sulfonate. It is suitable for emulsifying naphthenic oils with aniline point of 150°F - 190°F and most paraffinic oils. Because EZ-Mulz 500 has a low HLB value, its oleophilic nature combined with its affinity with metal surfaces make EZ-Mulz 500 an excellent corrosion inhibitor. Tagat® TO V is a liquid, non-ionic POE 25 glycerol trioleate emulsifier. Tagat TO V is used as an emulsifier in a wide range of industrial applications including metalworking fluids (MWF), concrete release agents, agrochemicals and textile auxiliaries. In the case of MWF applications, Tagat TO V is primarily used for the formulation of environmentally friendly fluids based on mineral oils and synthetic ester oils, as well as ester oil/mineral blends. The excellent emulsifying properties allows a reduction of the total emulsifier content which is necessary for the fluid emulsification.
Tagat® V 20 is an ethoxylated castor oil oleate. It is a low foaming emulsifier used in a wide range of applications such as metalworking fluids, concrete release agents, textile auxiliary formulations and pulp and paper defoamers. For metalworking fluids, Tagat V 20 is mainly used for the formulation of environmentally friendly fluids based on vegetable and synthetic ester oils, as well as combinations of these oils with mineral oils.
Tego® Polish Additiv ACS is an amino siloxane for the manufacturing of excellent car care products and rinse aid formulations for automatic car wash equipment. It is 100% active self-emulsifying amino siloxane for W/O emulsions. TEGO Polish Additiv ACS produces highly viscous W/O emulsions without the need for additional thickeners and is suitable for the formulation of clear gels. The long-term protection given by the W/O polishes are excellent. The resulting protective surface layer cannot be re-emulsified by water or rain.

VARONIC® T 215 is a 15 mole ethoxylate of tallow amine. Varonic T 215 is an excellent emulsifier and wetting agent and provides alkalinity to formulations. The product works well in acidic and alkaline formulas. Ethoxylated amines have excellent hard water tolerance, acid and alkali stability, quaternary compatibility and tend to inhibit corrosion in some applications.
