Counter Rust™ 6000

Counter Rust™ 6000 is a mixture of relatively high molecular weight organic acids, lactones and ester derived from the high pressure oxidation of petroleum fractions. Counter Rust 6000 is primarily used as a chemical intermediate in the formulation of rust preventive and metalworking formulations. Metal soaps (e.g. zinc or aluminum) of Counter Rust 6000 are proven effective in formulating rust preventives effective against salt spray, humidity or acid atmospheres.
