Songnox® L115

Songnox® L115 is a high molecular weight phenolic antioxidant for lubricants that provides multifunctional activity as a primary and secondary antioxidant. Songnox L115 is an ashless solid with low volatility that provides superior thermal stability over conventional phenolic antioxidants. The product also permits reduced losses under high temperature operating conditions. The main applications for Songnox L115 include synthetic and semi-synthetic lubricants and engine oils while also finding use in greases, hydraulic oils and turbine oils. The product is approved by the NSF/FDA for use in blending food grade lubricants with incidental food contact, at a level not to exceed 0.5% by weight. Songnox L115 meets the European Ecolabel criteria for lubricants and is featured on the Lubricant Substance Classification List (LuSc-list).
