Tego® Antifoam 2450 is an organic antifoam concentrate based on vegetable oil. Tego Antifoam 2450 is designed for the use as a process aid in the water-based polymerization of SBR/NBR rubber materials. Unlike conventional defoamers, Tego Antifoam 2450 was specifically developed to avoid premature coagulation. This allows for less cleaning of the reaction vessel and the demonomerization column while the Tego Antifoam 2450 does not hinder the coagulation stage.
